What “One Water” Means to Me
The One Water construct considers water holistically, acknowledging that water weaves through all aspects of our lives, be that the clothes we wear, how we cool our data centers, or how we nurture our mental wellness.
It aligns with water sensitive urban design, the slow water movement, and other nature-based approaches to water management.
This concept also honors Indigenous approaches to water management, viewing water not as a commodity, but as a living entity.
Maximizing
my generalist superpower
I bring a broad set of experiences to my work. I started my technical expertise interning in fluid dynamics for NASA and began my career as an aircrew officer in the US Air Force. In the private sector, I was a Senior Operations Manager in Amazon before pivoting professionally into sustainability.
As a generalist, I’ve had to adapt my skills to each new industry and learn new ones as I go. Because of this, I bring resilience and new perspectives to each role.
